The machine will not brew coffee

When a machine will not brew, the culprit is almost always a jammed brew unit or a scaled-up water circuit. Diagnosis costs PLN 20–50 and is deducted from the repair; reconditioning the brew unit — the most common fix — costs PLN 90–120.

Most likely causes

  1. Jammed or seized brew unit — coffee residue and worn seals lock the mechanism

    most common

We fix this with: Brew unit reconditioning 90–120 PLN

  2. Scaled thermoblock and hoses — scale narrows the bore and chokes the water flow

    common

We fix this with: Descaling and chemical cleaning 150 PLN

  3. Worn pump that no longer builds working pressure

    common

We fix this with: Pump replacement 330–380 PLN

  4. Grind set too fine, blocking flow through the puck

    less common

We fix this with: Grinder repair and replacement 250 PLN (parts 70–150 PLN)

Check this yourself first

Some faults you can clear yourself. If none of this helps, we know where to look.

  1. Check the water tank is filled and seated correctly
  2. Remove and rinse the brew unit under running water if your model allows it
  3. Set a coarser grind and try again
  4. Run the descaling programme from the machine menu
