The machine will not froth milk

No milk froth is nearly always a blocked air channel in the milk system, clogged by dried residue. Chemical cleaning costs PLN 150 and fixes it without replacing anything. Less often the thermoblock is at fault and no longer produces steam.

Most likely causes

  1. Dried milk blocking the air intake channel

  2. Worn or badly seated seal in the frothing nozzle

    less common

We fix this with: Thermoblock or boiler replacement 330–350 PLN

Check this yourself first

Some faults you can clear yourself. If none of this helps, we know where to look.

  1. Take the nozzle or milk module apart and rinse every channel in warm water
  2. Check the small air intake hole is clear — it can be pinhole-sized
  3. Use milk straight from the fridge; warm milk froths far worse
  4. Run the milk system cleaning programme if your model has one
